We had the pleasure of bringing our customer’s vision to life with a truly unique and versatile piece of jewellery. She came to us with a special request—a bespoke design that could be worn as both a pendant and a brooch.
Our senior goldsmith worked closely with her to finalize the design, and from there, the magic began. The piece started as a hand-carved wax model, carefully crafted to capture every detail. It was then cast in luxurious yellow gold, leaving spaces for diamonds and a striking sapphire to create a beautiful scattered effect.
The settings to hold the precious stones were carefully soldered into place.
The next step was all about precision. Our goldsmith attached a cleverly designed hinged bail that folds seamlessly out of the way when worn as a brooch. A brooch clasp was also soldered into place.
Once the diamonds and sapphire were expertly set, the final polish brought the entire piece to life, showcasing its brilliance and versatility.
This bespoke creation is now ready to be cherished—a timeless piece that can transition effortlessly between pendant and brooch, just as our customer dreamed.
