A Beautiful Transformation – Custom Bracelet Extension by Our On-Site Goldsmith
When a customer recently brought in a stunning silver and enamel bracelet that was too small to wear comfortably, our team was delighted to help – combining traditional techniques with expert craftsmanship to create a seamless solution.
To begin, one enamel leaf link was carefully removed to use as a reference. Our goldsmith then transferred the outline onto a sheet of silver, meticulously tracing the shape by hand. From there, two identical leaf designs were precisely cut out, forming the base of the extension.
Next came the detail work – extensive hand-filing to refine the shape and ensure it matched the original links perfectly. The pieces were then passed to our skilled hand engraver, who delicately etched the leaf veins onto the surface, capturing the intricate beauty of the original design.
Once complete, the two custom-made silver links were seamlessly integrated into the bracelet, restoring both comfort and style. Finally, a safety chain was fitted for added security and peace of mind.
