This beautiful ring was handcrafted by one of our in house jewellery makers. More and more often client are requesting a newly designed item of jewellery be it rings or pendants include diamonds or other precious stones. Many of these might have been in other older items of jewellery or even single stones purchased or passed down the family line from one generation to the next. Our jewellery makers can help put these precious stones into beautiful item of unique jewellery, to continue a legacy or to simply give a precious stone a home.
For this design the tanzanite stone was provided by the client. They requested it to be fitted into a ring surrounded by diamonds. The tanzanite stone had to be specially cut to shape to fit the design made for the client. Due to the beauty and rarity of the stone, a specialist precious gems and diamond cutter was selected to perform this task.
The ring was hand carved out in wax and then sent off for casting. Once the cast of the ring was returned it was shaped by hand to the stunning ring you can see in the pictures. The tanzanite cuts a striking presents in the focal point of the ring, classic beautiful jewellery.
