From Sentimental Gold to a Bespoke Bangle
One of the most rewarding parts of what we do in our workshop is helping customers bring their ideas to life in precious metal. Recently, a customer came to us with a collection of her own gold jewellery that she no longer wore, but still held sentimental value. She had a vision for a bangle with a tulip inspired design, and our goldsmith was delighted to take on the challenge.
The process began with melting down her gold, giving it a new lease of life and preparing it for its transformation. From there, our goldsmith carefully shaped and crafted the bangle, incorporating the delicate tulip design exactly as the customer imagined. To complete the piece, he created a handmade clasp and hinge, ensuring both strength and elegance.
After a final polish and finish, the bangle was complete – a beautiful piece that carries both personal meaning and skilled craftsmanship.
It’s always special to see old treasures transformed into something new, ready to be worn and enjoyed for many years to come.
