The Beginning: Jewellery with History
Our customer arrived with a collection of cherished gold pieces, a selection of well loved earrings and two rings, one of which featured a delicate arrangement of small diamonds. Each piece held emotional significance, but none were being worn. Rather than leaving them tucked away in a drawer, our client wanted to honour their value by creating something wearable, personal, and timeless.
The Process: Tradition Meets Craftsmanship
Our master goldsmith began by carefully melting down the gold from all of the pieces, combining them into a single, solid gold bar. This stage is not just technical it's symbolic. It marks the fusion of memories and moments into a unified form, ready to be reborn.
From this bar, the gold was rolled, shaped, and formed into a bespoke band. Every detail was considered: the width, the profile, the finish all tailored to the customer’s preferences.
Next came the diamonds. Expertly removed from the original ring, each one was cleaned, inspected, and then meticulously reset into the new band. Their placement was carefully chosen to create a subtle sparkle that enhances the ring’s character without overwhelming its elegant simplicity.
The final piece is more than just a ring. It’s a one-of-a-kind creation that blends past and present. A wearable memory handcrafted with care and precision. Our customer was overjoyed with the result.
