At Jewellery By Design, every piece of jewellery we create tells a story. Recently, a customer entrusted us with two cherished yellow gold wedding bands and a solitaire diamond ring. They wanted something new, something unique.
Our senior goldsmith began by sketching a series of bespoke designs, each one crafted to reflect the customer’s style and the emotional significance of their heirlooms. After thoughtful consideration, one elegant design was chosen.
The transformation began with melting the gold bands, expertly twisting and shaping the precious metal into the new ring’s graceful form. A custom setting was then created and soldered into place, ready to cradle the solitaire diamond. With careful precision, the diamond was set, bringing brilliance and life to the new piece.
Finally, the ring was meticulously cleaned and polished to a radiant finish. What began as separate treasures was reborn as a single, stunning piece of bespoke jewellery, one that carries a lifetime of memories into a new chapter.
