Every piece of jewellery tells a story, and sometimes that story evolves. Recently, a customer brought us her classic trilogy diamond ring, a timeless piece filled with sentimental value but she wanted to give it a fresh, modern twist.
Our goldsmith began by sketching several design concepts, each offering a unique way to reimagine the three brilliant diamonds. After thoughtful consideration, one design stood out, a sleek look that would highlight the stones while giving the ring a truly contemporary feel.
Using the chosen design, we re-set the diamonds in platinum bezel settings, a style that perfectly frames each stone and offers an ultra-modern aesthetic. A platinum shank was then added. The result is a striking new ring that keeps the sentiment of the original trilogy while bringing it beautifully up to date.
This transformation is a wonderful example of how bespoke redesigns can breathe new life into cherished jewellery, ensuring treasured gems continue to shine for many more years to come.
